Five steps. Only the first differs — GEO and AEO take competitors from elsewhere
We collect the search top for your query in the region and on the device you pick, classify the pages we find and keep the competitors of the dominant type. If your page is already in the top 5, the audit stops and asks whether to continue.
We parse the selected competitors and build a brief: which blocks, facts and questions the page needs to answer the query more completely than they do. Part of every run — every other output builds on it.
Finished copy written from that brief, not a rewrite of competitors. Enabled with a checkbox in the form.
Title, description and JSON-LD matched to the page content. A separate output — enabled with a checkbox in the form.
A visual layout: how the blocks from the brief sit on the page. Needs the brief and the copy, enabled separately.
You do not have to trust the automatic pick: a competitor list you set by hand outranks the one we find, in all three audits.
No need to rerun the audit. Meta or the mockup can be generated from a finished report with one button — the competitor data is already there.
A "How we worked this out" block shows what was analysed and what the service inferred for you, whether the page is relevant to the query, where the reference page type came from, who ended up as a competitor — and what failed.
The search top is not the only place people look for you
Competitors are the sources behind the search engine's AI answer, flagged by whether the answer actually used them.
How the service decides who counts as a competitor, and how to set your own list instead.
The pipeline is the same; the source of competitors differs. SEO uses the search top, GEO uses the pages an AI assistant cited, AEO uses the sources behind the engine's AI answer. Everything after competitor selection is identical.
Either one. Given a URL the service works out the query from the page content; given a query it picks a reference page. Provide both and it first checks whether the page is relevant to the query, and puts the verdict with its reason in the report.
Measured, an SEO audit with a single output takes about 106 seconds. Each extra output adds roughly a minute, so a full run of all four takes longer.
The audit stops and names the reason: the search returned nothing, too few pages of the right type, or their content could not be fetched. The reason is in the report, and you can set the competitor list by hand.
